This cute little buddy is a sugar glider that Renee created as part of a pollinator series. It was a fun challenge trying to texture the fur just right, and it was great way to focus on mammalian pollinators. Sugar gliders love sweet, high-energy foods, such as plant nectar, and while they are enjoying their snacks, they help spread pollen from plant to plant. This glider isn't chowing down right now, but he may be entering a torpor which is similar to hibernation but not as intense. So if you want an excellent mentor for self care, consider the snackin', nappin', flip-flappin' sugar glider!
