These stunning ambrosia maple and ebonized oak boxes are family keep-sake worthy. The ambrosia maple lid is form-fitted to the bottom part. It's a snug fit but will come off with gentle force. The "black" parts of the box are ebonized oak. We turned the oak black using a steel wool + vinegar solution- the result is a cool black chemical reaction.
You could use this box as a tea box, a pet memorial box (think collars, favorite ball, ashes- things like that for a beloved pet), a baby box (thick Tooth Fairy teeth, blankie, baby's first curl, etc). It has many special uses!
