This might be my most favorite piece ever. Even though this piece is over 1.5 yrs old, she just got a custom frame made, handcrafted by David himself. It looks SO GOOD TOGETHER! The frame is cherry and clear poplar and the canvas itself is rainbow poplar.
The colors are so vibrant, so metallic and shiny, and they GLOW in the light! 😍 I know that whoever adopts this piece will love all of these details too. 🌈💜🔥
The flowers aren’t supposed to be a specific kind of flower. They can be whatever you think they are. Some people say daisies, I think they kinda look like mums, and others have said coneflowers. They’re just a made-up flower.
The most memorable comment I’ve received about this piece was from an older lady at an art show when she said “It’s so lovely, I don’t understand why you still have it. But even if people don’t buy it they’ll at least remember the way the flowers dance across the wood.” 🥹😭💜 She was so sweet!
